  • Greetings from Norway

Recently bought me the G220/110 DA polisher, have used MG products for some time and until now- been polishing by hand.
It was about time to move up 1 step, and therefore I choosed to try the G220 DA as a newbie with machine polishing.

So, I am looking forward to test it out and have already read lots of tutorials and advice here on the forum.

Have a nice day in "cyberspace"

    Br.

      Thanks
I had a go this morning with the G220 for a test spot, and was impressed.
Tried "Swirl-x" to remove some swirls w/"Soft Buff 2.0 polishing pad" and could easily see a good 50-50 comparison. Not bad for beeing my 1st time I guess

        Hei Kjetil,

Nice to see someone from Norge on the board. I never made it to Fredrikstad but I've been close.... I used to live in Drøbak back in the 70s and I must have drove nearby as I remember going to Svinesund on a couple of occasions.

        Hilsen,

        Christian

            Hi Christian,
Thats cool, do you have any Norwegian relatives as you lived in Drøbak?
And yes, you were pretty close when you where driving to "Svinesund" as Fredrikstad is almost the same way. If you ever go to Norway or Drøbak again, please let me know :-)

                  Thanks for the welcome :-)
Well Norway is known for the nice scenery, so there are a lot of nice places to visit even though its a small country.

Never been to Italy, but sure would like to go there

I was born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark, lived there for 16 years... and I used to visit Oslo quite often..
btw, where did you buy the G220? are they expensive in scandinavia?
Im thinking of maybe letting my parents in DK buy one for me.. hehe :]

                      Hi Ganesa,
Thanks for the reply and the welcome.
Copenhagen is really nice, went to Denmark for 1 week back in June
I bought my G220 online from UK as they are quite expensive in Norway, actually it sells @ $500!! Half the price in UK compared to Norway!! I checked meguiars.dk and it sells @ dkk 1995:

wow thanks for the link... been looking for quite a while where I could find the prices of meguairs in denmark... but after looking the prices seems pretty similar to down here in Indonesia.. no wonder why you ordered it from the UK, plus I assume you got great deals there too with lots of pads ?

You are very welcome Ganesha, glad I could help.
You can get a really nice deal online, for the same price for only the G220, you get kits with buffers/pads, DA, and M83 and M80. This is from MG dealers eg in UK.
                              :-)
