Funny you should say that about Mark. I was actually surfing through some Fiesta movement info and sumbled across his video application. He mantioned that he was a mod on this site and I figured I would join up to learn a thing or 2 about detailing.

Hehehe. Thanks. It has some hideous chip marks on the hood. I used touch up paint on the messed up spots but now it looks like my car has chicken pox. lol. I need learn how to sand the marks out... and thats why I am here. I just need to take my time and do it right this time around.

Welcome to MOL. I see by a couple of your comments that you have paint chips on your hood. Although I gather that you probably want to wetsand them out, I wanted to let you know about our forum discount for a paint chip system called Dr. ColorChip. Well what would you recomend? I am all ears.

I also have some glass etching from what appears to be acid raid or something. It is not bad but noticable.

Dr ColorChip is for the consumer masses, very easy to use and a semi-permanent solution but by no means on the level of correction achieved by wetsanding and repainting the chips. But you have to have some mad touch-up skills to do the job correctly and make it permanent. Dr ColorChip has been getting some good notices here and on other forums.
