I'm going to have a look at vis's site. That's the best carbon hood that i've seen! The sohc engine is a good engine.Build quality is just as good as the twin cam.The only weak point in comparison is the con rods,so don't enter the red zone or pass 7000rev.I have a few times in the past and is still fine.I found the best engine oil is redline 10w/40.Also Bardahl is good stuff.
I forgot to mention the plugs.I'm using denso's irridium.
If you havn't already done so,try advancing your distributor a couple of deg.The standard is 16 deg. ,but when i checked it out with timing light,it was 14? It now is about 17.Don't go too crazy with this though and use premium quality gas.Unfortunatley, having a single cam doesn't give you much options for an adjustable cam sprocket. With the twin cam you can increase torque and high end power, but with the single you can only shoot for one or the other, mind you a good quality fast road cam would do the business! Don't go for a regrind though! they don't work well with v-tecs.Mugen or Jun's make great stuff, but at a cost$$$$$$.
You'll have no problems in getting hold of an edlbrock rebored air throttle valve. These work well on the D16Z6 engines. They will increase your torque a good bit.I would have done this, but this is not the states!

Let me know how you get on.

You get much more options in the states for hondas.I wish it was the same here.

I like the carbon fibre bonnet.did you find it was a perfect match?

    Is your model DOHC?

    Nice Del Sol
They haven't had the Prelude in years, but even so, my 1st thought was "Prelude", and I've been a Honda owner for over 25 years!

Wasn't the Del Sol the model that replaced the Prelude?
