  • New member from NorthEast, Boston suburb

I have been Meguiar's user going back to early 80's. As a matter of fact, I still have the original #7 bottle with all the curdled material still with me! Over the years, I have tried many Meguiar's Mirror Glaze and OTC products including, #2, #9, #21, #26 and the plastic cleaner and the plastic polishers. I also have Gold Class products when they were first introduced. I gave up literally boxes of car care products when we purchased our new house in 2000 but kept my Meguiar stash. Sadly, many of those bottles are now over twenty years old and are not useable. I also got too busy and had very little time for keeping my cars shiny.

Against that background, I stubmbled upon a competitor's line (Can I say the name here?) and was shocked how shiny it made my car even though it was completely neglected for years and how minimal efforts I had to put in to make it shiny.

Knowing the history and reputation of Meguiar I feel that current batch of Meguiar products might even be better than my accidentaly discovery. To that effect, I put in a small order for #105 at ADS. Suffices to say, the praises lavished upon #105 are well deserved. I wish I could take the plunge and go for DAC but the finance minister will flip out :-)

I have been reading this forum for many days before deciding to register. I am extremely impressed with the helpfulness of the community and I am completely blown away by the esteemed leaders such as Mike, Kevin and other Mike on their treatment of the participants and throughness of their replies and willingness to spill all the secrets.

The only reason some people get lost in thought... is because it is unfamiliar territory for them.
