Hello I'm Bobky - From Kentucky
I just bought a 2008 Honda Accord LX-P
Pearl Black -- It's looks great. This car has been treated wit a sealant called Xzilon -- According to the warrenty I can wax using a non abrasive carnauba for added protection.
So far I have just ran it through a touchless car wash and dried it with a large micro fiber towel. How do you all wash the windows inside and out.
Im sure I will be asking many dumb questions about keeping this one looking great. Maybe one day I will post some photos.
So any answers I can get from you pros --- I thank you in advance.

Careful with those touchless car washes. I use Zep Window cleaner from HD, the green colored professional one, diluted as it tells and use 2 Waffle Weave MF towels from Walmart, the mainstream one in the houseware dept.

I go with the Nxt Glass Cleaner, and a couple MF towels from Target. One spray on the cloth, wipe around, then dry with the other if needed. Then I apply RainX to the outside.

im sorry to say but you became a victim of dealer marketing scam. those sealant things don't protect the car from scratchs and swirls and they do not last the life of the vehicle and the most it is is probably just a coat of synthetic sealant similar to wax....

to properly care for the paint you have to use clay/paint cleaners to clean it and remove swirls and scratchs..... and polish to nourish the paint.... and then a wax or sealant to protect it..... usually this process is repeated every other month

your thousand dollar sealant job will probably come off after a few washes....

touchless car wash does not clean as good as traditional wash mitt and car soap.... but it is good for during winter times when it is too cold to wash your car.....

for your windows.... use any window cleaner like the NXT glass cleaner or invisible glass or rainX or even just plain old windex....
