  • New Saab Person on the Boards!!!

    Hello All,

I go by the alias of therealet23. I am in college in Boston MA attending Northeastern University. I have been a big fan of this forum and read it all the time to try to get tips and suggestions on how to go about cleaning my car.

I have a black saab 9000 aero (stage 3). It is a typical black car with all the swirls and cobwebbing to go with it. I am able to get the car extremely shiny and looking good from about 3 feet away except I am not satisfied as when I shine a light to the car I see all the swirls.

I have a rotary buffer, porter cable, and a bunch of different polishes but nothing really seems to work on the paint. I am able to make plenty of buffer holograms but the condition of the paint never changes despite what I do.

I have watched may videos on how to correctly use the porter cable as well as the rotary buffer. I think my problem may be the pads that I use are way too absorbant.

Well, I just wanted to officially introduce myself as I would really like to make my car look very nice. I will have many posts with pictures....lol
