  • Hello from FortWayne

I have really learned numerous tips it regards to car care on Meguiars.com. Thanks for making it available. I decided to join and ask a few questions of my own in regards one of my vehicles.

In the last couple of months I've had the desire to machine polish/wax my truck. I've watched the how to video and purchased a 4 1/2" orbital buffer. I have a 99 GMC Sierra Stepside which I purchased last year. The original owner had been appling on a yearly basis Ziebart's Diamond Gloss finish. The paint is in great shape , but there are some swirl marks in the finish, which I would like to remove. Do I need to do anything different when using Meguiar's polish/cleaner and wax on this type of finish? I was preparing to purchase #80 and NXT 2.0. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jim
