    Good morning from New Zealand

    Good morning everybody in the world.

    New member. Haven't got a clue what to do here.

    Am a Moderator of Volvo forums. Committee member of the local Volvo Enthusiasts Club.

    Have highly waxed S80 Volvo. I use the NXT wax-about 5 bottles a year.

    I use a lot of Meguiars products-but not all of them on the paintwork or all together.

      Beautiful New Zealand???

      It's like 8 degrees. I waxed the car yesterday. It took me just over four hours. The car looks very nice though. I used the NXT paste for the first time. I liked it very much. Goes on nice and thin. Therefore cutting down on wasteage. I used the lotion/creme NXT for the last couple of years-that is excellent too. But, I think the paste is the better option.

      Have you been down here? Most of the members of other forums I visit have a perspective of New Zealand from Lord of the Rings. Parts of the country look that-but not all.

      If you saw The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise-that was filmed in New Plymouth. I don't think any parts of Lord of the Rings was filmed there.

        I use the liquid myself. Just finished washing, claying, polishing and waxing all by hand - took about 9 hours...YIKES!

        I have never been to New Zealand, but I have a friend who lives outside Auckland. I plan to visit some day.

          Wow. I know how you feel. Try using the paste wax next time. I realise you won't want to repeat that effort for a while-but the paste is far superior to the lotion/liquid/creme presentation of NXT.

          Does your friend drive a Volvo?
