Meguairs Disc Suggestions

Hello, good morning dear,

A pleasure to greet you, I have a question about the Meguiars brand cutting discs, what is the difference between them, especially what is the degree of cut of each one, to be able to use them, since some suggest me use the sponge and others the microfiber.
I have used both and since both have worked very well for me, I am waiting for your comments and suggestions.

Meguiar's D/A Microfiber Cutting Discs offer a significant step up in aggressiveness. They cut more. It is important to prime our D/A Microfiber Cutting Discs with product, as product will not easily spread across the face of the pad like it will on a foam pad. Cleaning of the pad is also more important for microfiber cutting discs. Cleaning frequently during use, ideally using a blow gun via compressed air. Also, with a microfiber cutting pad, it generally takes a few attempts & cleaning of the pad for the combination to show it's true defect removal capability & especially the finish that it will leave behind. You basically have to prime the pad throughoughly, run it on the paint a bit, blow it out, run it on the paint, determine how much product is left within pad, add more/blow out, etc., until you have reached a point where the pad is primed & you are adding a few pea size drops for next section attempt. These microfiber pads can leave behind a very good finish, but take a bit to get going.

Overall again, just different "tools in the toolbox". Perform a test spot. Always use the least aggressive approach needed.
