If it's possible, posts should be editable until they have been replied to. That seems fair I suppose. That way if a person needs to correct a post AFTER it's been replied to, they can make clarifactions in a reply to their own post, once it's had a reply to it.
I noticed that the edit limit at 2 mins, is a bit short for people like me who can't type, can't think, can't spell and who's trains of thought tend to jump the track and need more than 3 mins to fix the derailed brain glitches.
