  • Easier Access to Products

I would love to have a place thats in town that carried more of your products. When i see something i want to try i do not want to wait days until i get it and dont feel like i should be charged shipping each time i want things. I cant find basic items like water magnets, supreme shine towels or even nxt tire shine. I honestly dont even like to purchase things online. Does anyone know a good place to find a larger selection of Meg's products in OKC?
Am i obsessed?? A car is the second biggest financial investment for most people, why not keep it looking better than new?

See if you have any PPG paint stores in your area. The one here in my neighborhood handles some of the non over the counter stuff.

Auto parts stores, places like Wal-Mart and Target and as said, PPG (auto paint/body supply) stores.

Perhaps you could ask a smaller store to bring products in for you.

Also ask most major Auto parts stores if they have it in their warehouse. They may carry it. Just not in your neck of the woods.

I'm like you - hate waiting for the brown truck to show up at the house and hate paying for shipping even more. I'm at the point where I wait to place an order with someone like ADS or AutoGeek until I can get to their free shipping order threshold or they have great pricing (like 25% off) something I really want/need. For me, orders placed with either source by noon on monday are at my office or home on friday - just in time for a weekend of fun.

As far as chains go, I've noticed WalMart tends to stock more items than Target. O'Reilly's offers more of the MirrorGlaze line than any other chain autoparts store I've seen. Looking at their website, they supposedly stock some of the MF towels you're looking for.

Anyone know if someone like an O'Reilly's can special order Meguiar's products if they don't normally stock them?

You can try the Dealer Locator for a PBE store in your area.

The list can be out of date, but worth some phone calls. They can usually get most anything, though not always immediately in stock.

I'm new to concerned car care and enjoy seeing the products on the shelves.

                    Here's my suggestions:
                    Shop often. Specials change frequently.
Target had a great gift package that dropped price quickly after the holiday season but was full of goodies. Many of us purchased multiple packages and spread what we didn't use to friends.
Wal Mart has specials like Ultimate Quick Wash and Wax with a $5.00 rebate. They also had the large bottles of Quick Detailer for $5.00.
O'Reilly's has a good collection of consumer products. With occasional sales, but rare or limited supply of the professional supplies.
Autozone again occasional sales and rare or limited supply of the professional supplies.
Advanced Auto Parts is similar to the others.
                    NAPA I thought was limited.
One you don't have is Arnolds' Auto Parts, a heaven of pro Meguiar's including pads which is a rare find in a brick and mortar store.
You have Pep Boy's which I haven't found in Iowa yet, so I don't know what is in there.

When I travel out of town, I put auto parts into my phone and let it search for places for me to visit. Drives my wife nuts. Things like pads or water magnets are pretty rare in stores (at least in my limited experience).

Once I hold the product in my hand and review the label it's easier to purchase it whether at a store or over the internet. Watch for sales on the internet too. Many have specials on shipping too.

Good luck in your search and take my advice with a grain of salt since I'm such a noob!

(By the way, been to OKC for Big 12 basketball tournament...great city!! Everything so convenient for the tournament and within walking distance. Something like 50 steps between the two arenas.)
