  • Fluorescent Highlighter.

A liquid such as Deep Cristal step 2, as applied wiped off. Some of the product would stay (in,on) scratches, swirls and all other imperfections it would gradually disappear as work carried out.

It would be a fluo liquid applied on paint work and wiped off.The fluo would stay on all imperfections and harden. As working on a scratch one would know it has gone when the fluo has.I think that would be helpful as i always notice small imperfection just after a nice wax and when my vehicle is in the sun. Deep scratches that reached steel or primer should be highlighted in different color.

Now I understand. That does make sense to me to be able to truely see your progression of swirls removed.

Isn't that why you use a light such as the Brinkmann? IDK if I'd want to be wiping something like that on the car.

It takes time to stop our polishing and run across paint looking for faults with a light and one may miss some swirls if the light is not at the right angle. That product would be a quicker way to proof of imperfections or perfection, it would also be a deepness indicator.

Something like a guide coat when sanding the car to paint? Great idea.

Yes it would pop up all slight imperfections before a paint job or a wax application.
