So, I picked up a Black Magic wheel brush (I know... but what can ya do if in a hurry for relatives) and they had a little pamplet about the "Black Magic 7-step Car Cleaning Process" zip tied to the handle of all their brushes. And I guess on some of their products. Maybe 2.5in x 2.5in, 8 or 9 pages.

It was a little convuluted and short-cutting things, but the overall ideas was pretty good, and would keep a persons car in good shape.

Perhaps it would be worthwhile for a little Meguiars pamphlet to be attatched ot some tools, bottles, etc.

Well, I just meant actualy putting the 5-step cycle out there a bit more for people to see/read, etc...

Black Magic actualy included the interior as the 7th step, and wheels as a seperate step, but you know, that sort of thing where people could see 6 or 7 basic products to get.

yeah more detailed info would certainly help

to be honest , before i found sites like this , i found meguiars range to be completely confusing, and chances are i would have picked up something else that looked more easy

I had the same problem, I was overwhelmed by all the products and I didn't have a clue as to what did what etc. I took the time to search the net and ended up here. But I must say there are a lot of people who don't have the time or don't want to research.

So I think the idea is a good one and it would also aid in attracting new customers.

              Re: Little pamhplet

At least once a week I here someone say that they will not use Meguiar's because they can't figure out what product to use. They feel too many products are duplicated in diffrentl lines i.e. Professional, A Series, Solo, etc. To a certain extent I have to agree, I may be wrong, but it seems that Meguiar's does not like to discontinue a product because they might loose current users, but I feel if they were to REPLACE the product with a new one or name it the same but improved i.e. the NEW Scratch-X they would probably have less product, less confusion and more users. It is hard to please everyone, bottom line, you can't beat Meguiar's products

Well, every product is different, which is fine, variety is good. Only making one cleaner, one polish, and one wax certainly wouldnt fill all the different needs (mostly wants) that we have when detailing.

It is just that a pamphlet could at least cover the entry level steps.

Though you would think the bottles with the giant "Step 1" "Step 2" and "Step 3" on them would cover that.... but you know how the public is....
