Same here.

Seems to me that the aerosol version would be more difficult to control on a windy day. The stuff might blow all over the place.

Trigger spray for me.

I perfer all. A typical detail, I use both.

Aerosol. Jambs, priming, initial soak for clay, and wax removal.

Smaller Bottle. Tight spots, adding QD while claying, vertical surfaces, taking up less space.

Large QD bottle. Refilling small spray bottle.

Aersol is bad for the environment. Go spray, better control of where you want the product.

Spray- I believe I have more control over how much and where I spray it.

Does not take much anyway plus no pressure gas required (greener?)

16oz trigger, $6.49, 16oz, $0.41/oz

32oz trigger, $8.69, 32oz, $0.27/oz

The aerosol actually gives you more QD for your money than the smaller trigger spray. PC.

That math is a bit faulty because ozs in an aerosol can include the propellant. So without knowing how many oz of propellant there is in a can....well....can't do the math.

I like spray for claying and quick dusting after washing before waxing etc. But...may try the aerosol can....I use Hot Shine aerosol as it has the smaller spray pattern so I don't have to clean the wheels up after the spray and it's faster than putting it on an applicator.

That’s a good point.

I find that with my natural grip on the can I only have to worry about the bottom edge of the can touching the car. A wrap of duct tape can solve that.

I dont like the aerosol b/c its in a metal can. If you drop a plastic bottle or bump the side of the vehicle with a plastic bottle it doesnt matter. Do that with a metal can and youve got a really bad day.

I used to steer clear of aerosols because most aerosol products are sold in smaller sizes at higher prices than their trigger spray counterparts. Meguiar’s has turned that upside-down. I’ll certainly be buying aerosol QD again (mostly for convenient “toss in the car and take it with me” use, they don’t leak and are easy to use, for bulk use in the garage I buy #34 in gallons).

it just looks like i get more for my money with the spray.... im on a budget so watever gives me more for less is better for me hahha
