  • G110V2 thumbwheel numbers difficult to read

I received a G110V2 today and the first thing I noticed was the numbers 3-5 are extremely difficult to read. I have excellent vision and I have a difficult time making them out.

note: these photos pick up the numbers much better than the naked eye (they are taken with a macro lens and a flash).

It seems a little odd to have faint green numbers for the most common settings. Is this normal, or did I receive an oddball?

The reason is that the different numbers are indicated by different colors. It can be a bit tricky to see at times, but it is very normal!

I am often asked on what number do I wax or polish or ??? ..... My answer is I dont know. I polish by "ear". The type of pad, product, amount of product, type of paint, shape of the panel, etc.... determine at which speed I need to run the machine at. I adjust the dial up or down to get the best performance at the time. Chances are after you use the machine a bunch of times you will grow accustom to adjusting speed without even looking at the dial.
