G110 warranty question

  • G110 warranty question

    Hello all,
    I had my G110 for close to eight months, but have used it only for 6 or so total hours before it started to quit on me. It would slow down after a bit of use. I searched on this forum and was instructed to call the Customer service line, and in doing so, I was courteously instructed on how I can get about getting a replacement unit. Unfortunately shipping cost couldn't be reimbursed unless it was purchased directly through Meguiars. Nevertheless, I applaud the ease and friendliness of the customer service line. Product is only good as the people who stand by it.

    One question I have is regarding warranty for the new unit I will be recieving. What will happen to my warranty? Will the new unit have a new one year warranty from recieving the replacement unit or will my "old" warranty be in effect (giving me 4 months of balance of warranty period since it has been 8 months since the initial purchase)?

      The warranty is 1 year from the date on your proof of purchase. If you are sending your machine to us here in Irvine go ahead and send it to my attention and I will personally make sure you get your new machine A.S.A.P.

        I apologize for my lack of a follow up, as I have been swamped with other issues concerning work.

        I finally got a chance to send you my G110 for warranty.
        I have included only the buffer itself, and a print out of my reciept and this forum post.

          Good day Brian,
          It's been a week since I've sent in the G110, and haven't heard a response from you. I hope you recieved the item without issues. It was signed for by L Gray on March 31, if that helps any.

          Please inform me of the status of my claim when you get the chance. Thanks in advance for all your help.

            I did receive the G110 you sent back. I have been out of the office since last Tuesday so I did not see it until this morning. I have made a replacement order and you should see your new machine in 7-10 business days. Thanks for following up.
