Meguiars Direct VS Customer Service - Different people?

Just curious... is Meguiars Direct representatives different than Meguiars customer service representatives where we use to order our products from (when you call in)??

Only reason I ask, I called in and asked explain the situation with my Gold Class that had separated (posted a thread)... and the person I was speaking with was a little 'lost' when I started to tell the 'story' and then said let me transfer you to Customer Service. There was nothing wrong with it just peaked my curiosity.

Yes, that is correct. Meguiar's Direct is a 3rd party (Sure Source LLC) who handles our ecommerce and direct sales fulfillment. If you need tech support, have a problem with a product, etc. you will want to contact our Customer Care Center here at Meguiar's. The number is 800-347-5700. For future reference it's safest just to call us directly. We can help with almost any concern, and if not we will get you to the right place.

That is kind of what I figured... that is a big help and good to know. Just didn't seem they knew the product as well as they use to and that explains it. So, Meguiars still has their technical representatives to call and can help out for in-depth Q's over the phone?

Yes, our Customer Care Department is still going strong and a vital part of Meguiar's.
