    Toxxin

The G110 has a 1 year warranty, (which I am not sure of its status since you opened the unit yourself), but you should give the Meguiar's hotline a call yourself and they can best serve you.

    Sorry for your troubles.

Since you're in Canada, you'll need to return it to the place you purchased it or contact the vendor from who you purchased the tool from as that is the correct protocol to follow.

Note: At this time we don't sell individual brushes as most people, (not you), but most people cannot and don't want to service their own tools.

If you run into troubles with the above then contact Meguiar's Customer Care and Mark has already posted the office hours during the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.

Posting the problem here on the forum is great but all we can do on the forum is direct you back to Customer Care.

Meguiar's has the best customer care service in this industry and I'm confident that when our Customer Care Team returns to work on Monday they will go out of their way to help you out.

The Porter Cable unit is a great tool, we actually introduced this tool to the detailing world long before the Internet was around and long before everybody and their brother started selling them in the detailing world. One of the best features our unit has over the PC is more power and that enables you to remove defects better and faster.

After teaching hundreds of people how to use this tool I can testify that one feature alone makes the tool the better option.

The failure rate for this tool is inside the industry standard for power tools. I'm on this forum almost everyday and I don't see posts like your describing. If you're reading lots of posts on other forums then these other people need to call Customer Care as posting to some other forum won't get the problem resolved.

Re: Need replacement parts for my G110 where to buy?

The alarming thing In your photo is that the dramatic difference in brush wear. You have more than a brush issue.

I spent 11 years repairing electric motors up to 3000 hp and power tools.

you could have a problem with 1. brush spring tension 2. different brush composition 3.poor connection to the smaller brush which would cause lower voltage to that brush and cause burning do to excursive heat .4. If that is the leading brush in rotation in rotation could be a loose bar segment on the comm. the proper color of the comm should be dark choc.brown which = proper commutation. 4.some type of contaminate between the brush and the comm.

Also when brushes are replaced they need to be seated for proper opp.and that is a whole different chapter in my repair manual.

So to save yourself some grief take the previously posted advice let customer care help you. Just replacing the brush may band aid the problem just long enough to miss the warranty or ruin the tool. IMHO.

I would definitely call customer care. Not sure if you will have problems because you opened the unit yourself. Good luck.
