Prices in Colombia!?!

Guys here is what I recently wrote to Meguiar's, regarding the super high price of their products here in Colombia. And I buy many american products at only a considerate price increase, but products that are 400% of their cost in the US is just amazing. Exactly how does Meguire export their products that they multiply many times in price?

I have been a user of Meguiar's products for years.
Recently, I moved back to my home country, Colombia, and had been unable to find your products until recently, when I located your dealer.
Unfortunately, I have a big complaint, and I believe management, someone important, should be made aware of this. And it has to do with the price of the products here in Colombia.
Just recently I visited one of the three stores in Bogota that have Meguiars products, and bought a couple of products. But the prices were just alarming.
For the 3-pack of Microfiber towels, that I can find in the US for about 6 bucks, I was charged 40 dollars. The truth is I do not know why I bought them, I have felt ripped off ever since.
I had talked to many friends here about the quality of Meguiar's products, but as it is today, they all believe that your products are a complete rippoff, with a bottle of wax for more than 60 dollars, which if you compensate for our local currency, would be like charging over 100 bucks for a NXT wax at Walmart.
I am taking my time to write this, as your products and brand have been dear to me for many years, and it disgusts me on how local dealers are expecting to rip people off the way they are. I hope you guys are aware of this. I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks for your time.

... los precios varian mucho de usa a colombia porque es tan simple que la importación de los productos es muy costosa...simplemente calcule el precio por la web de fedex y se dará cuenta por el peso y el tamaño que traer una cera por fedex se le incrementará por lo menos en unos 20 dolares solo el envio ......asi que calculando una cera como la nxt esta en usa en 17 dolares mas 20 del envio, que es absurdo de hecho, eso le sumara 37 dolares que al cambio pues daria masomenos unos 80 mil pesos....... entonces pues se podrá imaginas uno con un negocio le tendra que ganar algo al producto
,no obstante pues es absurdo que usted pague 60 dolares !!! asi que lo invito a pasar por mi autolavado y detailing shop en bogota ..... escribame y hablamos lo que necesite. o buscar el grupo en facebook y se dará cuenta de nuestros trabajos que de hecho sale mucho mejor mandarlo a hacer con nosotros que comprar los productos...... asi que lo dejo diego y espero le sirva mi respuesta.
