    NXT Tech Protect on painted plastic

    Is it ok to use the NXT Tech Protect on painted plastic trim? Or will it damage the paint and cause it to fall off? Reason I'm asking is because I applied it to some plastic trim on the exterior of my car. I notice that some of the paint is now starting to fall off. Is it because of the Tech Protect? The instructions stated for unpainted plastic only so I'm not sure if it would damage painted plastic.
