I do not see Ultimate Polish G19216 on the chart. Is Ultimate Polish body shop safe?

Also, is the chart accurate/up to date? I see Ultimate Compound listed as paintable, but I thought I have seen Michael state that it is not in a different thread. But, he could have been referring to the use of Compound/Polish used as a combo, which might imply the compound is but the polish is not?

It primarily refers to a product being safe for use in an environment where fresh paint is being sprayed. Basically, all of the body shop safe products are silicone free as any small bit of silicone that lands on a fully prepped panel with cause a fisheye if paint is sprayed over it. And really, that's about the only time silicone is really a bad thing.

Our corporate website is still in beta mod so there are some inaccuracies still to be found, and we do apologize for that. Ultimate Quik Detailer is most definitely not a body shop safe product and should not be used in an environment where fresh paint is being sprayed.

The product description on the website says UQD IS body shop safe..??........ Is body shop safe refering to wether or not you can apply it to curing paint? I know waxing is bad, is detail spray ok?

    Thank you
That is really weird. UQD has never been a body shop safe product and the formula has never changed since it was introduced a few years ago. Further, not even our products that are body shop safe carry any extra label indicating that they are. Someone, somewhere along the line, must have accidentally stuck some labels on when they shouldn't have.

I think it's wrong label, because as far as i know, UQD never was never body shop safe from the start ...CMIIW..
