    Chasing scratches

    Hi All

    I am having trouble going from 1500 grit to 2000 grit and when I think all the 1500 has been removed I move to a 3000 grit 3m pad - then compound. My problem is when I compound if find that 1500 marks appear as I have not spotted these and then I'm back to 2000 grit to remove them. My question - has anyone any tips on how to make sure all 1500 has been removed by the 2000 grit??
