  • Ultimate compound + Clear Coat (burn through??)

Was using the UC to try to blend the touch up paint with the surrounding...as i hand rub it more..the touch up paint blend in better..but it created this circular shape around it which i can't get rid off...tried using autoglym super reisin polish also can't get rid of it. I was worried it might be clear coat burnt through...but i din see any pick up of paint.

I use a microfiber cloth then with the UC to do the work....ANyway i can restore this?( Seriously hope it is not a burn through ) Shld i get swirl X to help or can i use glaze or anything from Meg to improve? my ride is a 3mth old audi A4

Was the whole panel re-sprayed? Or just spots? how long did you let it cure before going at it?

there was some respray there abt a month ago...and the respray wet sanding not done properly...as for my touch up paint..it set for a day before i started doing this.

The ring is not the area with the touch up paint. in fact if u stare hard enough, you can see a small bump at the center. that is where the touch up is.

i check my white pad applicator. it is not picking up any black paint.

Were you in an accident? Just curious as to why a 3 month old car need this work done. Looks to me as it is burn but maybe not all the way threw the clear..yet.
