  • Ultimate Compound and Water spots

    Dear All,

Yesterday I bought Ultimate Compound, and today after my car washed and dried I apply it to remove some water spots
I applied it manually by my hand, but why I still unable to remove them?

I need your advise.. what should I do?

    many thanks in advance

    Regards

Try to apply Ultimate Compound again. Work really small areas, like 2' by 2', and put more pressure on the surface. Use foam applicator, not microfiber nor terry cotton. Sometimes it takes more than one round to fully remove defects.

Yeah, a common mistake is just wiping the product on, it needs worked in with some passion.

You have to use elbow grease like the others have suggested. Do a small section and vigorously work it in.

It would make a big difference. Using DA polisher would allow you to work much faster, more effectively and you would be able to correct bigger defects with no sweat. If you think about getting one - just go ahead, it's worth it. Go for a good machine like Meg's G110v2, Porter Cable 7424XP or Griot's Garage 6".
