Be sure to apply a coating of wax or paint sealant when you're finished with M105 or any compound, paint cleaner or cleaner/polish to protect the paint.

    Results look good!

Oh. It ok. I just would like to post the before and after M105.
So I left the both ends of the scratch there for see to all.

I am saving M105 for scratches on future eye sore areas.
I only use moderate to light pressure to remove the scratch.
On the first pass and i can see improvement after 3 passes the scratch is almost gone.

Now I am waiting for swirlX or ScatchX 2.0 to remove the light swirls that could not be caught on the camera and other parts of my daily driven car.

Hi Mike, thanks for the tip.

I have use M105 over the weekend.
It is good at removing scatches but I think for removing swirls, it takes some experience to remove it safely.

Below is photo of the scratch that I am trying to remove.

Now I cant wait for SwirlX and ScratchX 2.0 to arrived.

    After M105.

    Remaining scratch from another view.

The swirls in this picture look very shallow or fine, removing them will require only a small amount of paint be removed and you'll want a gentle touch.

Just to note a quality coat of wax or paint sealant will mask them, not that that's what you want to do but if the car is a daily driver then maintaining a 100% swirl free finish 100% of the time is going to be very difficult and will require the paint be washed very carefully or wiped with a quick detailer very carefully.

    Hi Carfire, Thanks.
Actually, the swirls are fine. Its not very obvious as compare to other cars. It took me some effort to capture those swirls in my camera.
I am just hoping that I do it correctly so that I will not worsen the condition.

The only problem used by hand is slower process and you need some eblow grease. Use a rotary with wool pad to speed up the process, made sure you inspect regularly. Afterwhich, use a form pad by hand with M105, by now, you should achieve a very good finishes.

look at Mike's advise on post #5.
As for me, I will be using the yellow applicator pad as I feel it is less aggresive and less abrasive compare to terry cloth.

    Thanks for the link.
