We are in the Ecuador, in the Caribbean so we have like the same weather all year around, it's summer all year around with some "cold" weather in winter, but cold is like 70ºF

Re: Waxing A Cold Car
I just washed and waxed today. I'm really stoked about the NXT2 wax. Can't really capture the finish with a camera. After finishing the wax I went over the car with a coat of Ultimate Quick Detailer to catch any spots of wax I may have missed. The finish is unbelievably soft and smooth to the touch and the shine is nothing short of fantastic. At the moment I'd probably make a good spokesman for Meguiar's products. The car wash picture was taken on the 31st of January. It was a bit warmer today.

So far so good. The Z looks great. Can't wait to see the shine after the second coat of nxt. Looks great.

I think BMW is the worst current culprit. A guy in my office building has a brand new BMW 550i, and the paint looks corrugated.

Re: Waxing A Cold Car
'Nother n00b question.
Is the orange peel in the base coat or the clear coat (or both)?
I assume that base coat orange peel is not repairable, but CC is (to some extent)?

Re: Waxing A Cold Car
Here's the way I look at it: Orange peel is something you will have to deal with, but swirls can be avoided or removed.
As long as there are no swirls, the paint is better than 90% of cars on the road.
