I work for a medium size GM dealer and we took in on trade a nice 30,000 mile 2008 Yukon Denali with a very light beige interior. When the buyer did his final inspection prior to signing papers, he pulled the shoulder belts out from the retractors, found 3 belts badly stained and walked on the deal. I sent it to our detail shop the next morning where they tried all their APC-type cleaners with very limited success. Then they started pricing new seat belt assemblies because "they can't be cleaned". Anticipating a problem, I had brought a bottle of Quik-Out from home. 20 minutes later, all the stains were gone, with a few barely distinguishable traces remaining from the darkest of the spots. Later that day, the buyer returned for another inspection, looked over each belt carefully, signed papers and took delivery.
Normally, the "pros" in the detail shop politely show their disdain for any OTC products. Quik-Out changed a few attitudes that day.
