Polishing a metallic black 2008 jeep grand cherokee. I have been polishing and wet sanding in body shops for years but still struggle to get that showroom finish on very dark colours.
I ended up buying some heavy, medium and fine cut cleaner and also some swirl remover. Also picked up 3 new pads. the brand is Simoniz, yellow pad is very stiff, white is a bit softer for compounds and blue is soft so I will use it for finishing.
How can I avoid buffer trails and achieve a mirror like finish with these products?
