I have no idea on the polisher, but DANG some of the produts are EXPENSIVE. Over $32 USD for a bottle of UQD! (35.30 CHF unless I mis-read)

hi guys... yup its very expensive here...
i have this machine now... it just shakes and does not spin... wil it be effective? or is it only good for puting wax?
i will be using deep crystal 123...
i will be trying it on the week end...

advice please...

What do you mean by does not spin? Even if you hold it in the air, does it spin?

I think what you have is a buffer. Its not a Dual-action or a rotary. I had something similar and upgraded to the Porter Cable DA. I liked the buffer when I had it, but it isn't as good as the DA, which I am sure isn't as good as the rotory.

What you should have should work Ok to put product on if you don't have serious panit issues that would require a more aggressive machine.

Are Meguir's products expensive all over Europe?

yah it spins when in the air... once i put pressure with my hand it stops and shakes like crazy...

yah its very expensive here... the place where i buy my megs stuff are the main distributor for switzerland, austria and germany...
for example a makita rotary cost like 600chf last time i looked... and its just the machine.. without the pads and a baking plate...
i lost interest once i saw the price... then i saw the megs g125-da and thought of giving it a try...

Yup... thats just a weak polisher, only good for spreading wax.

Looks like a orbital polisher, which means that you should not buy it, no matter who sells it.

You've already bought it,so you might aswell keep it.I don't know how much you paid,but there are some really inexpensive ones.

If it was one of the more expensive ones,can you return it and buy something else?

i think its a pretty good deal 155Chf with one yellow megs pad... i will wright the details when i get home...
its a megs product so i guess its good for somthing...
