  • Anybody recommend a Hitachi SP18VA

I looked at the specs and it seems pretty comparable to the Mikita. Anybody use this particular rotary? Would you recommend it?

I have it and have had it since last September or so. The lighter weight has really helped me out on side panels. It's quality, quiet, reliable, priced right and has an excellent warranty. I will likely buy another as a back up unit.

      Second vote for Hitachi

I have to agree with Spoiledman. I love the Hitachi.

Some people do not like the bucket handle grip ,but I do.

The unit is lightweight, poweful and very very quiet. Couple that with a 5 year warranty (for Consumer use) and you have a real winner.

I got mine from Coastal Tools and I highly recommend them.

Hope this is of some assistance.
