  • Changing a backing plate if you lost the thin wrench...

So I have a griots 6", the thin wrench that came with it is missing, and of course a regular wrench won't fit. Anyone know the best thing to do other than try to find/buy a new slim wrench? Is there a easy way to take it apart or something?

    thanks

Contact Griot's customer service; they may send you a new one.

I would just buy another wrench.

      $4.99 from AG:

Porter Cable 7424XP Flat Wrench - If you have a Porter Cable 7424 or Porter Cable 7424XP dual action polisher, you also have the wrench that comes with it to remove the backing plate. Unless it got lost in a sea of other wrenches and screw drivers ...

(Yes it will fit a GG machine too)

We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
