Should i wash new pads before use? Each time I use a new pad I get tiny bits of what appear to be the foam flying everywhere and some get picked up by the pad and cause damage to the paint (small circular scratches) that I have to remove in addition to what was already there.

Re: Question about new pads
I always spur wool pads, as they are really messy if not prepared. If I use a rotary buffer with foam pads I spray them with M34 Final Inspection first and with DA I usually prime them with products.
I also have Grit Guard Universal Pad Washer so I can quickly get any pad cleaned and ready for buffing action.
