I am having a problem with my pads flying off. this happens with my cutting, buffing, and finishing pads. Could this be a bad backing plate? Any tips to keep them on? Thanks Dave

Re: Pads flying off my G110v2
Are you turning the DA on with the pad against the surface? Are you turning it off with the pad touching the surface and lifting it once it has stopped spinning?
This can happen when its spinning and all of the sudden you lift the pad. It happen even more if the pad is saturated.

You have to apply a good amount of pressure when cleaning the pad. I apply as much pressure as I feel safe in order to get all the excess product out of the pad.

Hold the terry cloth in one hand. Hold the polisher in the other. Place the pad on the terry cloth and press down. Apply resistance by pressing your hand with the terry cloth into the pad and the pad into the terry cloth. Turn the polisher on (setting 3 or 4). Do this for a few seconds. Turn the machine off. Flip terry cloth to clean side and repeat. Do this until the pad is sufficiently clean.
I can't say I've ever had a pad come off my DA.
