  • Best Bang-for-Buck DA Polisher?

    Hey everyone,

After procrastinating since summer of 2009, I've finally decided to get a DA Polisher. I know that Meguiars just came out with the newer version of G110, but it's over my budget, I'm trying to keep it around $100. What's the best bang-for-buck DA polisher on the market?

    Thanks Cheers

If you would like a Meg's D.A., you could find a good deal on a used one. The last version, that is.
There's no reason to become alarmed, and we hope you'll enjoy the rest of your flight. By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?

You just priced yourself out of the market.

g110 is what I was refering to. I've never priced a g100, so on that I'm not sure.

Your going to have to spend more than a $100 just so you know.

Not if it is used. I would say the BEST bang for the buck would be the good ol' G100 or PC7424. One can pick these up used for very cheap, and they have proven to be reliable work horses. I'm still on my first polisher and the G100 is going strong.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.

Well G100 has a lifetime warranty, which has a higher value then the G110. G110 has a one year warranty.

Overall I will go with a g100, most of MOL users that still have G100 are still going strong there pretty much bullet proof.

I thought he meant brand new. But I would agree that a G100 or a 7424 would be a good investment as they are pretty darn reliable.

Does the 7424 have a lifetime warranty like the G100?

I do not believe the 7424 has a lifetime warranty. I think it is 1 or 2 years.

Is the Lifetime warranty still in effect on the G100's? The new products coming out didnt mess anything up with that did it?

I really don't think so. The only way they could void it is by you moding it.
