Re: My friend wants a Griot's 6" DA...need input
You can't go wrong with the Griots (new version), PCXP, G110/G110V2.
I still use my trusty old G100 (PC 7335).

Judging from the links, it seems like Mike Phillips has signed off on it and likes it a lot. Maybe he'll pop up and add to this thread

Re: My friend wants a Griot's 6" DA...need input
hopefully the gremlins that plagued the G110V1 won't be present, I like the Griots or the PCXP units, the Griots machine is rated more powerful than the G110 1.0 and the PCXP is below the G110, not sure on how they rate with the G110 2.0.
But, having more power doesn't mean better results, proper pad/speed/technique/product is the key.

Re: My friend wants a Griot's 6" DA...need input
Check closely as the Griot new DA comes with a standard cord and a extended 25' cord and the latter is at an extra cost as sold at AG. Just a heads up. Personally I think I'll wait to see a comparision test between the new griots and the new Meg's unit.I see also that Ads is taking pre-orders on the new Meg's unit for $149.00 .

Care to expand upon this? Why a "game changer". I mean, other than the change which allows power to ramp up if it is bogging down, it there something else that I'm missing with V2?
I have a G110 V1 and didn't think the changes to be all that significant but maybe I'm missing something.

Re: My friend wants a Griot's 6" DA...need input
gsxr-I saw that, but something seems odd with that., checking with what is on the Griot's Website. In fact, that part about the 16 gauge cord isn't listed on their website. Plus the rest of the write-up on it talks about it being engineered ans still has the 10' cord.
V1 is
And v2 is
And only Amazon had the V1 in stock, everyone else has the V2 but makes no mention on the HD other than AutoGeek.
