Well, long story short, my G100 is missing and I don't know where it went. So I've got to get something. I'm thinking of the G110, what else is out there right now?

Re: G100 went missing, so now what?
How skilled were you with the G100? If I was comfortable enough, I would look into the flex. Otherwise you have the G110, PC7424, and new PC7424XP
I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.
I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
Remove swirls my friends.

I like the Flex because it doesn't bog down like the PC does. Its like having a rotary minus dangers but a little less bite.
For example, things that take 2 minutes to do with a rotary will take 4 minutes to do with a Flex and 6 minutes to do with a PC or G110. Good in between of the PC and Rotary.

The PC7424 can be had at clearance price these days. If you want to simply replace your unit at as little cost as possible, the PC7424 is the obvious choice.
Otherwise, the PC7424XP is a great machine and a little more powerful than the G100 or the 7424. People claim to be able to remove sanding marks with the unit with great success. I absolutely believe my eyes when I see the pictures, even though some people remain skeptical even when presented with 7 megapixels of evidence. That said, I also believe it is not the most efficient machine to compliment wet sanding.
However, if you are a frequenter of wetsanding, the Flex is probably a more versatile. One of these days I want to get a Dewalt rotary. But I really don't have a use for such a machine. And considering that it is based similarly as an angle grinder, which costs under a hundred bucks, it is too expensive for what you are getting.
