I just recently decided on getting the G110 instead of the PC7424 and i havent really researched the meguiars pads at all, ive read just about everything about the lake country ccs pads and they seem pretty good.. anyway, will the backing plate that comes with the g110 work just fine with the 5.5" lake country pads or will i have to buy a new backing plate or get meguiars pads instead?

Re: Pads
i realize both pads are very good, but the place im going to buy the g110 from only carries the lake country pads which is why i want to know if the backing plate that comes with the g110 will work fine or if i will need to get a new one?

Re: Pads
im not necessarily looking at kits.. at first i was but then i decided to make my own so on autogeek i put the following together for $199 with free shipping:
- G110 $140
FREE 2 Blue 6.5" pads
- Meguiars M205 Finishing Polish $35
- 1 Orange Light 5.5" pad $8
- 1 White 5.5" pad $8
- 1 Gray 5.5" pad $8
but on ADS i couldnt find where they offer just the g110 by itself, i could only find kits

Re: Pads
i was just looking through the ADS kits again and noticed this one:
Edit: actually this kit looks better since it comes with 3 pads instead of 1:
It looks like it has a smaller bottle of the M205 which is probably good for me since ive never used any of it before so if i like it i can always get the bigger bottle for $35.. anyway i dont really have a clue about the meguiars pads.. it looks like they only come in 6" and there are 3 types? is there somewhere where i can find out more information about the pads like how many i need of each?
