Anyone know if the shampoo brushes made for the PC are compatible with the G110? http://www.autodetailingsolutions.co...ampooBrush.htm

I would imagine they are, but I wanted to ensure they were before I purchased them. Also, has anyone used them and if so, are they any good?

    Thanks.

They will work with the G110. They just attach via the velcro so as long as you have a velcro backing plate you are all set.

I've never used one but thought about getting one a few times. A few things to think of... I don't know the diameter of the brush so make sure it isn't smaller than your backing plate. Otherwise I can see the velcro backing plate grabbing the carpet and making a mess. Another thing is I wasn't sure where I would be able to use this. Meaning that most of the carpet in my Jeep is in such small areas, I don't know if I would be able to work the DA around and have enough room.

If you do end up getting one let us (me ) know how it works.

They should work fine with the G110. I have a pair of these brushes. They work ok. The thing I'm experiencing is that when I'm shampooing a carpet the brush doesn't seem to stay well attached to the backing plate and because the PC/G110 oscillates it tends to want to spit out the brush. In other words the brush doesn't stay centered & get's a bit frustrating. There are other brushes made for the PC that actually screw on rather than attached by velcro.

I'm debating because I have no good way of cleaning my carpets (not that I have that much either), I just feel like my methods are pretty lame. I'm thinking of make another heavy order at ADS so I'm collecting my thoughts and a way to convince wifey it is in our best interest to fill the garage with more products!!!

I was kind of worried about this.

I can confirm that hemin8r said... I used the brush with the PC before and it would want to come off if used at speed 3 or above... I just placed an order for the G110 and I did get the brush but simply because I like the shape of it and use it by hand on some spot cleaning on carpets... it also works pretty well on the PC on speed 2-3...

hemin8r, do you know where to buy the brush that screws into the PC?

I have the velcro brush from ADS. I have used it about 4 times. I have not had any problems with it spinning off. I generally use it @ speed 3. I like the job it does. You have to maneuver the G100 around but it gets in all the places I asked it to. I should add this is referring to the short nap brush. Never used the longer nap brush.

As for how they stick to the velcro: I had to pull HARD for about 5 minutes to get mine off of the backing plate. Mine aren't going anywhere. This was on a newish backing plate too.

I have a long bristle and a short bristle brush and I have never had the problem of them falling off or getting off center. I have a pretty new backing plate but I think that they work great and they sure do save your arms a lot of work.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

                    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
                    Remove swirls my friends.

I have some that screw directly into the g100. Work very well. I think auto geek carries them.

Same. On my FLEX I hate having to remove it because it is seriously near impossible the velcro works so well
