It could be that the paint is hard enough that a DA Polisher won't remove the defects?

You've posted a number of times to this forum about having problems getting defects out of the paint, it could be the way you're using the tool, lots of people have a DA Polisher and have all the right pads and products but if they still don't use the polisher just right it won't be effective.

Take a read through this thread and see if there's anything you're doing wrong as well as right.

If you're doing everything right, the it might be that you need to switch to a rotary buffer.

Well imagining that you are working great using the UDM, with the right product and combo combination I would suggest that you switch to a rotary

If you are using the correct technique and #83 with a W8006 pad and its still not cutting it then it may be time to look into a Rotary. The DA can only handle so much especially on really hard paints. I would suggest working it a few more times and if you still don't see any results then it may be time to upgrade to a rotary

Thanks. its not perfect though...some scratches were too deep to removed and some of them were too deep for my DA polisher
