I recently purchased a pc and have the w8006 & w9006 pads & one dedicated w7006 pad to use with the bonnets and was wondering how do most people apply polishes, cleaners.wax onto the pads Thanks.

the pattern really doesn't matter it's the amount of product applied via the pad that does.

which basically is your learning curve.

    However congratulations on your purchase

I think Joe (aka Superior Shine) came up with the best pattern:

            FWIW

I tend to place a thin bead of product around the outside perimeter of the foam pad. The reason for this is the pads tend to get saturated with product over time and since this is a known issue I don't help it by placing product in the center of the pad to start with.

I do the same, seems to me the edges of the pad are a little dry even after working with a product for some time.

I wonder if you can do a "Z" shape?

I usually do an O around the outside of the pads aswell. A nice thin bead works well for me.
