A cheap replacement option might be to find a junkyard and maybe you can locate a Murano with an intact display screen that matches yours. Some junkyards specialize in certain vehicles, so you might want to Google a search for the year, make, and model of your Murano. Even if you find a junkyard that's not local, many will ship.

I've replaced parts on my Honda Civic over the years using this method. Best of luck.

Nav screen or display screen, you'd be working with the same type of material/coating. Same rules apply.

Unfortunately the anti-glare coatings usually found on navigation screens and, in this case, the multi-function display, aren't really suitable for this product. What others have pointed out is what we were afraid of, and the owners manual most likely has a caution about cleaning this screen. Obviously the cheapest fix at this point would be to finish the job, so to speak, and remove the rest of the coating and then affix an anti-glare film to the surface, as RogueGypsy suggested. If you take your time and do it right, you shouldn't even be able to tell it was ever done.

Buy a replacement. It may be less expensive than you think. I purchased one for another car and it was only $20. The new one was still not scratch free. The problem I had was the design was poor so reflections would show any surface scratches easily. It should have had some coating on it.
