  • Hand Sanitizer Spots on Console

    Hello,
I spilled a small amount of hand sanitizer, Purell Instant Hand Sanitizer on the black console (2008 Honda Accord). Now there are spots which I can't remove. The hand sanitizer active ingredient is 65% Ethyl Alcohol.

Does anyone have any idea how I can remove these spots?

    Thanks a great deal!

Have you tried replenishing the area with a conditioner of sorts? Is it on leather, plastic, vinyl?

Thanks. I've tried everything. The Hand Sanitizer spots are on the center console which is black plastic.

I've tried 303 Protectant (and the cleaner), armor all ; water . These white-ish spots do not come off

A hand held steam cleaner should suffice. At least it did for me.
