Gold Class Leather Conditioner Differences

I can't seem to figure out the differences between the separate cleaner (g11016) and conditioner (g11116) vs the combination cleaner and conditioner (g7214). Anyone have any ideas?

The dedicated cleaner is for cleaning leather.

The dedicated conditioner is for conditioning leather that has been previously cleaned or doesn't need to be cleaned.

Any of our cleaner/conditioners will clean and condition in the same application. One-step products are very popular because most people don't like doing two steps.

Actually, I just re-read the descriptions of both and discovered the separate products contain aloe. Thank you for the reply!

I couldn't find the separate aloe products locally, so I had to get the combination formula for now.

What I discovered by accident is that it restored some oxidized and faded plastic interior panels that weren't leather. So I used it on some more areas of the interior with the same results.

Could there be any adverse affects to this? I don't think there would be, but it never hurts to ask.

I would use an interior protectant for the interior panels.

Our leather products can be used on interior vinyl and vinyl is a type of plastic, so while we have better products for rigid and flexible plastic, our leather products certainly won't hurt these surfaces and will restore a new look to them, just be sure to wipe off any excess products as plastic doesn't absorb well and products tend to be somewhat topical.

A quick wipe with a dry microfiber will remove any excess.

If it's black plastic trim starting to show a whitish color than it's past the point of no return for a dressing. A dressing will improve it but it won't reverse the damage already done.

I wish I had before and after pictures. I already used the leather cleaner/conditioner on it and there seems to be no way that it will be going back to how bad it was.

The trim piece was a shifter knob on a 1995 Nissan Altima SE. It has a high rubber content so that may be a part of it. It would simply absorb and absorb and absorb. Just like the leather wrapped steering wheel I bought the product for. The before and after on the steering wheel would have been awesome. I was planning on taking pictures of that. I can't believe I forgot.

I've noticed some white residue on trim pieces I didn't wipe after using the leather cleaner. I guess this is wear it stopped soaking in and dried up. I plan to clean it up by using the leather cleaner again and then fully wiping everything off.
