Hey there. I've only been detailing cars a short time professionally. Ive had a lot of luck removing stains from carpet and upholstery. Yesterday I had a 2006 Malibu which seems to have a really cheap upholstery and carpet in it. The seats and floor were completely soiled. All of the stains came out, but water rings or stains are popping back out in the seats. They still look 100% better than they did, but I'm not happy with it.
Any way to fix this completely without an extractor? I was thinking about saturating with warm water and just vaccuuming the heck out of them. I also think that they were too wet when I cleaned them the 1st time and then kneeled on them which forced dirt to the surface while wet. I tried to reclean them without putting any pressure on the seats. They were still wet when I gave it back to the customer. I told her they might come back and to let me know. She works for my family.
