I have a steamer like Aerocleanse as well. It's a neat machine, and has many uses for sure. I definitely need to play with mine more, but I have done some amazing stuff in cars and in houses with it so far.

I still use my Bissell LGCM with APC+ for carpets and mats, though.

Steamers are always better than extractors on cars. Extractors are great for house carpets. Finally I prefer dry foam to clean carpets and chairs on cars in that way I don't need any water, no humidity odors and the ending work its a new look a like.
