Yeah, 12.50 an hr. That's if they are the owners of this business.

Also, I can't tell if they were legal business. They may have been under the table type guys. Unless someone questions their status the law would never check up on them.

Even under the table, $12.50 an hour is a joke to make. And yes, I agree with the others who say it hurts our business.

Back to the original topic-yes, you can make money doing straight washes but do it right and legally. Depending on your area, $25-45 is a good starting point for wash/vac/dress tires, going up for larger vehicles. I'd definitely consider also offering full detailing services as well if you are capable.
