I was detailing a Jeep Wrangler last week and noticed a common problem for their breed...the wheel well (plastic, black) guards had SEVERE sun spotting damage (fading, etc).
I took them all off (which meant I had to take off the rear wheel well inserts) which took the better part of several hours (removal and replacement) and painted them with bumper paint.
I figure there's gotta be a better way than this! Are ya'll using any wipe on dyes or anything? ( briefly considered shoe polish)...I come from that old school philosophy 'If it's gotta be sprayed and can be taken off, remove it...'
