I am helping a friend find a good detailer in Wilmington, NC.
Wilmington is near Raleigh, Fayetteville, and the Myrtle Beach area.
The owner tried to remove some baked on tree sap / pine tar, and left visible scratches in the paint.
She took the car to a local detailer to remove the scratches, remove the pine tar, tree sap, bugs, etc.
The detailer allegedly clayed the car, and used both a rotary buffer, and a random orbital.
The pine sap did not get fully removed nor did some of the smaller scratches. You can still feel some of the imperfections (sap + Bugs)which are now under the wax!
I told her I would ask my friends at Meguiars for a well-regarded detailer in her area.
Can anyonen provide a referral?
