I have started to work on a 2004 Austin-Martin Vanquish S, it is black and does anyone know if all Austin-Martin finishes are so DAMN HARD, I started with #82 and a 8006 pad with my DA, and then to #82 with a 7006 pad, any other suggestions, I really dont want to use #80 yet, the car has a lot of spider webbing and very few actual scratches, normally I do mostly Ferrari's and the paint is softer and very easy to work with.

Well if #82 isn't cutting it then surely it's time to go up to #80 or even #83? I did a Vanquish back in the summer and needed Poorboy's SSR2.5 on it with a W7006 - I then had to spend about an hour cleaning up all the dust it created...
Are you sure also that you're not putting the micro-marring IN the paint with the W7006? I always try to finish with #80/W8006 or #82/9006 before going to LSP.
Oh, and it's Aston Martin buy the way...
