Old Style Plastic Polishing or Plast-X

To quote Mike, "The M01, M03, W-1000 and W-5500 were/are the products used for our plastic polishing system." This is exactly what I was taught years ago and have not strayed from. I use a W1000 foam for both. On occasion, it's done by hand. Is Plast-X a better way to go, both when sanding first or not?

Since I've never used Plast-X, am I missing out on a great product?

I've been wondering the same.

I want to wetsand down the grime and pitting on my headlamps, should I use like #17, then #10, or Plast-X.
